Diego Zago acquired his basic knowledge and took his first steps toward the masso-therapeutic practices in 1984, by the teachings of a master of Aikido and Nepalese techniques of bioenergetic massotherapies.

In 1985 he obtained the Nurse diploma.

In 1987 he was in charge for the Physio-therapeutic Service at the Verona Military Hospital, where he learnt the rudiments of a sightless massager.

Later on he went on with his passion deepening his knowledge and experience in the art of Manual Massage, attending the theoretical and practical formative courses in Massage and Massotherapy (Verona, 1988), Touch for Health (Vicenza, 1999 – 'International Kinesioloy College' of Buchberg, Switzerland), LPG Endermologie (Bologna, 2001) .

In 2011 and 2014 he integrated his professional formation in Chiang Mai (Thailand) learning the Northern Style of traditional Thai Massage techniques, attending the prestigious 'Old Medicine Hospital Thai Massage School Shivagakomarpaj', the 'International Training Massage School' and thai private teachers.

At the moment he’s teaching his peculiar massage techniques in professional training courses and he’s practising in qualified wellness centres or at home on request.

Over the years he has worked to perfect his own original method of manual massage, dedicated to beauty and gestalt wellness, spreading the results of his studies and his own experiences in Scientific publications and Publishing, presenting and demonstrating his original techniques of Dea massage in National and International events, and exposing the scientific and rational basis of his innovative method of draining and shaping manual massage at the National Congress CIDESCO 2014 in Italy.

He performed his first professional role as a teacher in Beauty Massage techniques in the school year 1989-1990, in the School of Aesthetics "Floreal" in Rimini.

Later he continued the same teaching activities in collaboration with the National Association Nurses Neuroscience (ANIN). 

From 2014 to 2021 he was a teacher of CIDESCO Italy, from 2021 he is a teacher of the World Spa Organization and from 2016 he is also a teacher of APULIA, the Free University of Welness Sciences, with which he realizes Professional Training Courses to his original techniques of Dea Massage, of which he has registered the Trademark in 2015.

Currently (from 2014 until today) he's also a theoretical - practical teacher for IAL Toscana in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage Techniques within various two-years and three-years Schools in Tuscany - "Vocational training course for operators of wellness (beauticians)": "Edonč", "Scrub", "Bio Beauty", "Master Beauty", "Beauty Lab", "Beauty School", Venus", "Spa" and "Venere" projects.
